Some of the best technology is older than the factory.

Industrialization, and colonial building standards with it, replaced methods that were cheaper, cooler and healthier with sealed boxes that need machines to stay livable. We go back to what worked, test it, and bring it forward.

These methods weren't dropped because they failed. They were dropped because the framework of the time couldn't see them as technology.

What we bring back

Ocean Waves

Red oxide floors, Athangudi tiles and lime plaster: surfaces that handle heat and moisture and don't off-gas.

Floors and walls that breathe

Courtyards, jaali screens, wind catchers and wetted khus screens that move and cool air before any machine runs.

Cooling without compressors

Grey water routed through planted beds, so the building treats its own water and feeds its landscape.

Buildings that clean water

Every method is tested with sensors and data before we recommend it, and the materials are fired and made in our Forge studio.

Measured, not romantic

Then we engineer what remains.

Passive design cuts the load first. Our engineers optimize what's left, and our sensing proves the result. Look back to reduce, engineer to optimize, measure to prove.
